2015 Audi R8 Release Date
The next generation R8 will go on sale sometime in 2015 . Factoring trends with future supercars (Porsche 918, Acura NSX), a hybrid awd R8 is also possible , wqzxc especially since Audi has had a rear combustion engine / electric motor instances ahead with e-tron Spyder and the R18 e-tron Quattro. Hybrid powertrains side, we will not discount large-displacement engine Lamborghini, either. |

Very little is known about the next-gen R8 (photo-illustration above). If the rumors prove true, may come turbo-charged-a distinct possibility given the benefits that come with encouragement, wqzxc and success with the force-fed Audi R18 Le Mans prototype. In fact, we suspect the V-6 turbodiesel in the discussion as one of the powerplants, perhaps the derivation of the 3.0-liter turbo-diesel V-6 used in the e-tron Spyder concept.
If lightly facelifted R8 for 2013 is not enough change, word has it that the new version was just a few years away.
